XRP, RLUSD news
The XRPL EVM Sidechain has gone live with Ripple USD stablecoin as a key part of RLUSD’s multichain expansion. The XRPL EVM Sidechain combines compatibility with existing EVM developer tooling while remaining closely connected to the XRP Ledger, helping meet growing demand from developers looking to build with XRP.
This expansion is powered by Wormhole’s NTT standard, enabling RLUSD to move natively across chains.
This week, Mastercard announced it will support settlement using regulated stablecoins including Ripple’s RLUSD, enabled across a range of supported blockchain networks including Arbitrum, Base, Canton, Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, Tempo and XRPL.
In a new listing, RLUSD is now supported on payment app RedotPay, allowing users to add and spend the Ripple USD stablecoin.
